If you’re using your computer for multimedia and you’ve dedicated a lot of your resources to the video card, you are only really addressing part of the equation: sound can be every bit as important as the picture, but most people only have puny speakers attached to the system. Ferguson Hill makes high-quality audio equipment, and the FH007 is set up to receive input from either RCA or 1/8th-inch connectors, which means you could use this setup with either a computer or directly with a digital audio player. The set breaks each channel into a bass orb and a treble horn, which does take up additional desktop space, but it sounds awesome…and the design is certainly a conversation piece. For those who want even more bass response, the FH008 subwoofer module can also be attached.

Shiny
- excellent sound quality
- beautiful design
- can be used with MP3 players
Dull
- very expensive
- satellites a bit large

FH007 and FH008

"The FH007 exhibits high end traits that I never expected to find in a Pc speaker... the soundstage scale can be grand when the music demands it-a feat no other speaker can match. Imaging is equally wondrous with instruments and vocals positioned and perfectly focused".

FH001 High End System Reviews

"Sonically, 'awesome' is the first word to spring to mind. It's a word that's wantonly over used today, often to describe the nearly mundane. But this speaker's extraordinarily larger than life presentation simply leaves one awestruck, in the way it direct-couples the listener to the musical experience"
